  1. Goodbye

    FT: Zurich 1-9 Arsenal

Time for us to leave it there for tonight.

I'll leave you with Ben Miller's report as Arsenal run riot in Zurich to win 9-1 and seal top spot in Group C of the Women's Champions League.

They'll find out who they will face in the last eight when the draw is done on 10 February.

We'll be back with Chelsea's final group game against PSG on Thursday. See you then.

  2. What do Chelsea need on Thursday?

    FT: Zurich 1-9 Arsenal

Chelsea complete their group stage campaign against Paris St-Germain on Thursday evening.

Emma Hayes' side are already through to the quarter-finals, and will secure top spot if they avoid a two-goal defeat to PSG.

We'll have live text coverage of that game from 19:30 GMT on Thursday.

  3. Post update

    FT: Zurich 1-9 Arsenal

Now, it is hard to tell you who Arsenal may face in the quarter-finals because none of the other three groups have a single spot decided yet.

They could face Paris St-Germain from Group A, with Chelsea firm favourites to take top spot.

Roma are currently second in Group B, but could top the group if Wolfsburg, who knocked Arsenal out in the last eight last season, slip up in their final game.

Group D will see Barcelona or Bayern Munich finish second. Both sides are level on points going into their final games.

  4. Post update

    FT: Zurich 1-9 Arsenal

This is how the final Group C table looks.

Arsenal finish two points clear of Lyon, who edge out Juventus for second place.

It is very much of a good job done by Arsenal. When the draw came out they would have been well aware that this group was tricky, and to finish top is perhaps beyond their expectations.

  5. Post update

    FT: Zurich 1-9 Arsenal

    It's all over in Lyon.

It finishes 0-0 and holders Lyon progress in second place, behind Arsenal.

  6. Post update

    FT: Zurich 1-9 Arsenal

They are still playing in Lyon-Juventus. It is still 0-0.

I'll bring you a full-time score as and when.

  7. FULL-TIME

    Zurich 1-9 Arsenal

All over. Job done for Arsenal.

They secure top spot in Group C and will be seeded for the quarter-finals.

That means the second leg will be at home. A potentially big advantage.

  8. INJURY TIME

    Zurich 1-9 Arsenal

There will be a minimum of three minutes added on at the end of this one.

    Can Arsenal get 10?

  9. SUBSTITUTION

    Zurich 1-9 Arsenal

Fifth and final sub for Arsenal.

Jen Beattie replaces Steph Catley in defence.

  10. GOAL - Zurich 1-9 Arsenal

    Mana Iwabuchi

The substitute gets in on the action.

Caitlin Foord threads Mana Iwabuchi through on goal. She takes a touch, looks up, and slots into the back of the net. Clinical.

  11. Post update

    Zurich 1-8 Arsenal

There are still opportunities for players to press their case for regular minutes once the season resumes with a game against Chelsea on 15 January.

Lina Hurtig is one of them, and she wins a free-kick, which Katie McCabe curls wide.

  12. Post update

    Zurich 1-8 Arsenal

Arsenal are just knocking the ball round now, content that their job is done.

This is stark contrast to their final group game last game. They only needed to avoid a 4-0 defeat in Hoffenheim to progress to the quarter-finals, but lost 4-1!

There isn't quite as much drama and tension in this one.

  13. Post update

    Zurich 1-8 Arsenal

It is still 0-0 between Lyon and Juventus.

That will be enough to see holders Lyon through in second place, behind Arsenal.

A Juventus goal would see them through, though.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONS

    Zurich 1-8 Arsenal

    Another Arsenal change.

Hat-trick hero Frida Maanum is replaced by Mana Iwabuchi.

The hosts also make a change, with Fabienne Humm replaced by Noa Scharz.

  15. YELLOW CARD

    Zurich 1-8 Arsenal

Vanessa Bernauer, who joined Zurich from Roma this summer, goes into the book for a late tackle on Kim Little.

  16. GOAL - Zurich 1-8 Arsenal

    Kim Little

    As easy as you like.

The returning Kim Little sends the keeper the wrong way and Arsenal have eight.

  17. PENALTY TO ARSENAL

    Zurich 1-7 Arsenal

    Arsenal just keep on coming!

A Steph Catley cross is handled by Oliwia Wos and the referee points to the spot.

  18. GOAL - Zurich 1-7 Arsenal

    Caitlin Foord

    A gift!

Oliwia Wos' back pass is short and Caitlin Foord, who has moved into a central position after the subs, just pokes past Lourdes Romero in the Zurich goal.

The Australia forward is on a hat-trick now too.

It has been too easy for Arsenal.

  19. Post update

    Zurich 1-6 Arsenal

The triple substitution has seen Leah Williamson move back into the back four. She is in there alongside Rafaelle.
